North Gower Swims is an indoor family pool that we want to share with the community to offer swimming lessons to kids aged 4 to 14.

Our family has 3 boys of which the eldest has recently completed his Swim Instructor's certification and is now teaching with us! The other two also love swimming and will be in the pool with your swimmers continuing to learn.
​
We have ample parking in the driveway and on street to manage the flow of swimmers in and out of the pool. When approaching the house there is a path on the right that will lead you to the pool area.

Preston Hawkins Kavanagh
Preston, another long-time North Gower resident, is a grade 9 student at South Carleton High School with a well-rounded passion for all things sports and adventure. He is a natural leader and loves to share his knowledge with others.

Preston has been looking forward to starting his swim instructor journey at his home pool for many years now. Following the successful completion of his Swim Instructors certification in March 2024, Preston has instructed private, semi-private and small group classes with much success!

Conor Diffey
Conor is a long-time North Gower resident who graduated from Sacred Heart High School in June 2023 and is currently attending the Recreation and Leisure Studies program at Algonquin College.
Conor has been instructing and lifeguarding with the City of Ottawa since 2020 and with North Gower swims since the spring of 2023. In addition to his passion for swimming, he is also a competitive hockey and baseball player .

Conor has organized lesson plans and activities for multiple swim levels and guarded public swim's with 200+ swimmers.
